Startup Duo is an organization empowering Sri Lankan teenagers (ages 15-20), especially from rural areas, with skills in entrepreneurship, creativity, and leadership. Focused on equal access to quality education, their mission aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4). Through workshops, mentorship, and events, Startup Duo develops critical skills in four key areas: Metacognitive Skills: Fostering self-awareness, reflection, and adaptability. Digital Skills: Equipping students with essential digital tools for success in a connected world. Green Skills: Encouraging environmental responsibility and sustainable practices. Interpersonal Skills: Enhancing communication, empathy, and collaboration. The organization also emphasizes personal development, helping youth build confidence and showcase their strengths through personal branding. By collaborating with schools and experts, Startup Duo creates a community-driven learning environment where students can thrive, innovate, and become leaders who contribute positively to society.
